FabTec masks comply with the guidelines of CEN Workshop Agreement, CWA 17553:2020

FabTec masks have been tested by the French DGA and they comply with the requirements of AFNOR SPEC-S76-001, Report RP/20-4531/DGA MNRBC/2000305/NP, according to which the masks are approved for non-medical use by professionals who are in contact with other people throughout the whole working day.

According to the test results the product maintained its properties after 30 cleaning cycles.

Filtration efficiency and breathability

FabTec masks have been tested according to the standard AFNOR SPEC S76-001. The mask classification is based on the capability of the masks to protect bi-directionally, i.e. how well the mask protects the user and other people in close contact with the user, as well as in addition to breathability, simultaneous air permeability and particle filtration efficiencies.

The particle filtration efficiency of FabTec masks was 95%, while the air permeability was 140 L / M2 / s at 100 Pascals.

FabTec masks comply with the requirements of AFNOR SPEC S76-001 Category 1 and Category 2.

Category 2 masks are approved for occupational groups for employees who are in occasional contact with other people. Category 1 masks are approved for use by professionals who are in regular and constant contact with other people throughout the working day.

Microbial repellency

According to ISO 20743: 2013 and AATCC100: 2019, the efficiency of FabTec materials in inhibiting microbial growth and the effectiveness of killing microbes has been tested. According to test results from an ISO / IEC 17025 accredited research laboratory, the FabTec materials inhibit microbial growth 99,999% and kill 99,999% of the microbes to which the mask materials were exposed for a 24-hour exposure period.

Moisture repellency

The water repellency of FabTec materials has been tested according to AATCC 22-2017. According to the test results of an ISO / IEC 17025 accredited research laboratory, the materials of the outer and inner layers of the masks are highly moisture repellent. The water repellency rate was 80.

Heavy metal content

From the FabTec materials, the most harmful heavy metal contents of textile materials, As, Pb, Hg, Sb and Cd, have been tested. According to the test results of an ISO / IEC 17025 accredited research laboratory, the concentration of all these heavy metals in the mask materials was N.D. i.e. zero.

UV protection

The UV protection effect of FabTec material has been tested according to standard EN 13758-1: 2001. The filtration efficiencies of UVA and UVB rays were measured from the material and a good UV protection category, UPF protection class 20, was obtained.

The properties of FabTec masks and materials have been tested as new and after numerous wash cycles. According to the test results, the properties have remained after washing.
